Sub-Etha Pad Large CNC Encoder Macropad

First original 42. Keebs project 🙂 Inspired by EncoderPad RP2040, but created from scratch by piit79 (GitHub repository).

Features:

• 7-8 keys with hotswap sockets
• Support for a vertical 2u key (numpad Enter) at the bottom right
• Large metal CNC rotary knob with 100 steps per rotation
• RGB underglow + 2 upward facing RGB LED – one near the 42. Keebs logo and one underneath the top right key (firmware support pending)
• Support for a 0.91″ 128×32 OLED screen
• On-board power switch and battery header
• Uses a Pro Micro-compatible controller
• TRRS jack for future connection to a compatible 42. Keebs kit (Mysterium 1.5e coming first) to be able to use only 1 USB cable (similar to split keyboards)
• Acrylic sandwich case: 5 mm switch plate, 5 mm middle plate, 3 mm bottom plate
• Available in black and white

• 1x reset switch
• 10x SK6812 MINI-E RGB LED modules
• 3x acrylic plates (smoky grey or clear satin)
• 4x adhesive silicone feet

Other required parts not included in the kit:

• 1x Pro Micro compatible controller module
• 8x Cherry MX-compatible switches
• 8x Cherry MX-compatible keycaps
